One Does Not Simply Pass On These Lord Of The Rings Keyboards

You wants them, you needs them, you must have these precious Lord Of The Rings mechanical keyboards. Today Drop has announced two officially licensed Lord Of The Rings mechanical keyboards in collaboration with Middle-Earth Enterprises. Each keyboard is limited edition and comes with a custom design set. The Dwarvish keyboard is themed after the Doors of Durin, and the Elvish keyboard is themed after the Two Trees Of Valinor. Coming in a tenkeyless design, you’ll also find stylized artwork matching the theme just above the arrow keys on the right side.
Featuring custom keycap sets based on the Dwarvish and Elvish languages, each keyboard also comes with a training keycap set that has the traditional English alphabet. And to top things off they come with upgraded Holy Panda switches and an anodized aluminum case. All-in-all, these are perfect for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts who also love Lord Of The Rings. But, these keyboards may not last long. As all Drop items usually don’t stick around forever.
You can pre-order the Lord Of The Rings keyboards starting today

The keyboards haven’t officially launched yet but you can pre-order them starting today. They also have pre-order pricing which gives consumers a bit of a discount – bringing the price down from $199.99 to $169.99. Pre-order pricing lasts through August 31. So if you want to save a little money, you’ll need to make the purchase within the next two weeks.
The keyboards will start shipping in early October, so while they won’t arrive in time for the launch of the upcoming The Rings Of Power TV series on Amazon Prime Video, they should show up before the series is over. That being said, the series begins on September 1 and the last episode will air on October 14. Which means there’s a chance they may miss the air time of the first season.
These keyboards utilize USB-C connectivity and come with a keycap puller. So you can switch keycaps out easily. And if you’ve messed with mechanical keyboards before, you know how much of a pain it can be to swap out keycaps without one of these tools. The keyboards also feature white backlighting. If you’re interested in grabbing either or both of these keyboards, you can pre-order them from the buttons below.
