This is Bang & Olufsen’s gaming headset and it’s been one of our top choices for gaming headsets all year. Some things to note. This is a premium headset from a luxury audio brand. So it’s extremely expensive for a gaming headset at normal price.
But, for the most part you get what you pay for. And that’s certainly true in this case. It was one of the more comfortable gaming headsets we’d used in a while. Thanks in part to its use of premium materials, and in part to its lightweight build. All that being said, The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal normally costs $499, but for Black Friday it’s dropped down to $299. This is a very big price drop and we don’t think we’ve ever seen it this low.

So make sure to pick the one you need if you’re thinking about getting this. In addition to the premium build, the Beoplay Portal uses a sleek virtual boom mic to capture sound for voice chat in games. And if you grab the PlayStation model, it actually has nearly double the battery life of the Xbox model (up to 42 hours compared to 24).
It also doesn’t look like a gaming headset which makes it perfect for use with your mobile device while on-the-go as well. And it works with the Nintendo Switch. All-in-all, this is a great gaming headset if you’re looking for something premium and versatile.
