After basically confirming that iOS 16.3 would be rolling out next week, Apple has now rolled out the release candidate. iOS 16.3 RC is currently rolling out to those that are in the beta.
Registered developers are able to download iOS 16.3 RC for their iPhones. As well as iPadOS 16.3 RC for their compatible iPads right now.
Here’s Apple’s full release notes for the release candidate:

Expect iOS 16.3 to rollout next week
This morning, in Apple’s press release about the Black Unity watch bands and watch faces, Apple basically confirmed that iOS 16.3 was coming next week. Stating that you’ll need iOS 16.3 for the new watch face, which would be available with the new band starting on January 24. That’s next Tuesday, so we can expect to see the final build coming on Monday or Tuesday.
This update is likely going to be a pretty small one. As the list of new features for iOS 16.3 is still quite short. With the biggest change here being the Security Keys. But of course, it’s also going to bring support for the new HomePod announced this morning, and also the new watch faces for the Apple Watch.
