V-MODA has announced the launch of its M-200 Custom Shield Kit. In other words, the company will allow you to customize the V-MODA M-200 headphones.
The company has announced replaceable plates or „shields” which can be customized with laser-engraved or color-printed designs. This way, you can choose exactly how you want your headphones to look like.
Customize your V-MODA M-200 headphones thanks to highly-customizable „shields”
There are six base shield colors available. Those colors are: Atlas Blue, Rust Orange, Moss Green, Laser Red, Titan Gray, and Brushed Black.
Each Custom Shield Kit includes two customizable shields in the color of choice. Along with that, you’ll get 12 screws, and one screwdriver for easy attachment and interchangeability.
If those base shield colors are not enough for you, you can take things to a whole new level. You can utilize color printing or laser engraving if you want. You can choose between ready-made designs or monograms.
If neither of those design suit you, you can always upload your own logo or design, and let the company do its thing. This basically allows you to completely customize your V-MODA M-200 headphones.
Now, the V-MODA M-200 headphones were originally launched back in November last year, as a follow-up to the V-MODA M-100 headphones from 2014. They are amongst the best headphones in the market still.
These are over-ear headphones, and they’re made out of metal. They have extremely soft ear cups, and the same goes for the material that goes on your head when you use these headphones.
Magnetic memory foam cushions on these headphones are replaceable
Those are magnetic memory foam cushions, and they are replaceable. The headband is made out of PU leather, and the company claims these headphones are extremely comfortable.
The V-MODA M-200 headphones include 50mm drivers with neodymium magnets, and CCAW voice coils. Hi-Res Audio is certified by the Japan Audio Society.
The device comes with a microphone, and a carrying case. Do note that the V-MODA M-200 are not wireless headphones, these are high-end wired headphones.
