The second of this weeks UFC Fight Night events is happening on Saturday, July 18. The UFC Fight Night main event features Deiveson „Daico” Figueiredo vs Joseph Benavidez. And this is bound to be a pretty impressive bout.
Figueiredo is #1 ranked UFC Flyweight, 15 wins by knockout or submission with only 1 professional loss. While Benavidez is #2 ranked UFC Flyweight, 2x UFC title challenger, and tied for most wins in the division. It really can’t get much better than that.
This bout is a rematch from Fight Night Norfolk on February 29, where Deiveson won the fight by knockout TKO, however because he missed weight he didn’t win the vacant championship. Figuierdo is also on a 3-fight win streak and is looking to win his first championship in UFC.
Also on the card is Jack Hermansson vs Kelvin Gastelum. Hermansson is a Swede-Norwegian born fighter with 16 wins by knockout or submission. And Gastelum is the Ultimate Fighter Season 17 tournament winner, former UFC title challenger and 3x Performance of the Night winner
