The Pixel 4a 5G Is Here! Ask Us Your Questions

FedEx just delivered the new Google Pixel 4a 5G. It’s now in-hand and I’m setting it up with all of my apps, accounts, etc.
We’ve spent a little bit of time with the device already, and it is noticeably bigger than the Pixel 4a, that was released back in August.
As most of you probably know, we can’t talk a whole lot about the Pixel 4a 5G just yet. Basically just the hardware, so this will be a short hands-on. But, send us your questions about the Pixel 4a 5G. Either leave them in the comments or send them to me on Twitter. And we will answer them as soon as we are able to.
Pixel 4a 5G hardware feels different than the Pixel 4a
Even though the Pixel 4a 5G is really just a larger Pixel 4a with a newer chipset, the hardware feels quite a bit different.
The back has a bit more texture than the Pixel 4a did, which is honestly a good thing. As we should be able to hold onto it a bit better. It honestly feels better in the hand than the Pixel 4a does. Not because it’s bigger, it just feels more premium. I know that sounds weird since the build is the same – still polycarbonate and not aluminum like the Pixel 5.
I really like this bigger size of the Pixel 4a 5G, even though it’s really only 0.4 inches larger, when it comes to the screen. It just feels better in the hand, and gives you a bit more space on screen, and that’s always a plus. Though, I think the sweet spot is still the Pixel 5, especially for those that want a compact smartphone.
Definitely like how Google kept the Pixel 4a 5G camera module from being overly thick. Like Samsung is embracing on the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note 20 Ultra. So it won’t wobble on the table.
Bezels are still a bit on the thick side with the Pixel 4a 5G, but this is a $500 phone, so that is kind of expected.
Look for a full review of the Pixel 4a 5G (and Pixel 5) in the coming weeks!
