Amazon has the third-generation Echo Dot available for only $19 right now. That’s taking $20 off of its new regular price of $39.
Now that the Echo Dot (4th generation) is out, and costs $49.99, Amazon decided to drop the price of the older Echo Dot by $10. Making it just $39, and not it’s even cheaper at $29. We haven’t seen this Echo Dot as part of an advertised deal for Black Friday yet. So it’s unclear if it’ll be discounted further for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This is still a good price for a pretty impressive smart speaker that can be put anywhere in your home.
Echo Dot is a pretty small smart speaker from Amazon, and it’s most popular one. And we all know why. It is about the size of a hockey puck and has Alexa inside.
With Amazon Alexa, you’re going to be able to ask it to do different things like control your smart home products, read you the latest news headlines and even answer your questions. Like how’s the weather, how’s traffic, etc. Alexa is continuing to get better with each passing day.
On top of that, the Echo Dot is also really good for streaming music. Since it is a smart speaker after all. It works with many of the top streaming music services like Amazon Music Unlimited, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and many more. If you’re music streaming service of choice is not available with Alexa, you can still use it with the Echo Dot. Simply by streaming over Bluetooth. It won’t sound as good, but it does still work, which is nice. But you can’t tell Alexa to play music from that app.
