It’s time to don your assassin’s blades once more, this time while you raid lands to the west as a viking, because Assassin’s Creed Valhalla landed on GeForce NOW today.
The game officially launched on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Stadia on November 10, and it just released on PS5 on November 12. That makes the GeForce NOW release, a day and date launch with the PS5 version of the game.
Of course since GeForce NOW connects you with game stores like the Epic Games Store, in using GeForce NOW you’re actually playing the PC release. As it’s Thursday, that means a new crop of games has landed on GeForce NOW, but Assassin’s Creed Valhalla isn’t the only new title you can play around with.

While this might be the most exciting game to land on the platform today, it’s not the only new title you can access.
Worth noting though is that not all of the titles are actually new, but rather they’re simply new to GeForce NOW. In addition to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, GeForce NOW also has access to Bright Memory, The Falconeer, XIII, and Rune II: Decapitation Edition.
Five games is typically a lot lower than what NVIDIA adds each week. As most of the time it’s been double this amount for the company’s weekly Game Ready on GeForce NOW roundups.
Still, sometimes you have to think about quality over quantity. And in this case, it’s definitely a quality over quantity situation with the latest GeForce NNOW releases.
AC Valhalla is not a Steam release
If you planned on picking this game on PC, then you probably already know that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is not a Steam release.
Instead, the game is only available through the Epic Games Store, or Ubisoft Connect, which used to be Uplay. Eventually it will come to Steam though. So if you’d rather wait for that time, you may even be able to snag the game at a cheaper price. Provided it’s either old enough at that point or Steam is having a sale on this particular title.
Bright Memory however is a Steam release, and it’s only $9.99. So not a bad deal for a wild looking FPS game that you can take with you and play anywhere. All five games also take advantage of NVIDIA Highlights, which means you can focus on playing while the feature captures epic moments.
