Free 30-Minute Stadia Pro Trials Give You A Glimpse At Performance

Google is now giving you a chance to try out Stadia Pro with some new 30-minute long trials.
You might ask yourself why you’d even want trials of Stadia Pro that only last 30 minutes long. And the main answer to that is because it gives you a nice way to test out the performance of Stadia with your own setup.
No, 30 minutes is not a very long time to enjoy a game. While you can certainly enjoy a game for 30 minutes, if you really love games, the longer the amount of time you have to play them, the better.
There’s also a perfectly good reason why Google set these trials up to last less than an hour.
30-minute Stadia Pro trials don’t require a payment method
That’s the reason. Google isn’t requiring you to enter any payment method information to test Stadia Pro for the first half hour.
With this in place, you have ample time to check out a game. Maybe even claim some for your Pro account should you choose to keep it.
And, after you finish the 30-minute trial, you can extend the timing of the free trial to the traditional month that Google started giving away earlier this year. The difference is that for the month-long trial, you’ll need to put in a payment method this time so it can renew at the end of the month if you decide to keep the subscription.
Google is really lowering the barrier of entry for Stadia here. It’s already given away free Premiere bundles multiple times. It gives away free games every month to Pro members. It gives out all kinds of discounts on games.
If there were any hurdles at all, it would be that people may not want to enter in payment information for fear of forgetting to cancel. But with the new 30-minute trial system, everyone should know by the end of it if they want to take the leap.
A good way for Google to reach potential players
For Google, this is a great way to potentially convince people to become new subscribers. Payment can often be a barrier for people when it comes to checking out new services.
But Google has removed that obstacle here. And if people are satisfied enough they may just keep their subscriptions and buy a game or two.
It’s both a good way for Google to bring in new customers and a good way to expand the Stadia community. There’s also really no reason not to try the Stadia Pro subscription, especially now that you can do so without putting in your payment information.
