The Fitbit Charge 5 Is Globally Available Today!

The launch of the Fitbit Charge 5 officially starts today. Announced earlier this year during the Summer, the Charge 5 is the most advanced tracker that Fitbit has ever developed.
While it does offer some familiar features like Hear Rate monitoring, there’s new ones onboard that make it more tantalizing than past models. Namely the color OLED display that carries an Always-On feature. But the Charge 5 also comes with other notable capabilities. Such as the on-wrist ECG app and the EDA Scan app for managing stress.
As battery life goes, the Charge 5 follows the same path as many other Fitbit wearables. You can use it for up to 7 days without having to throw it back on the charger. Of course, this time will vary depending on how you use it. Enabling things like the Always-On display and using the GPS all the time are going to decrease that battery life. So keep that in mind.
The Fitbit Charge 5 launch hits numerous retailers
You can grab Fitbit’s latest tracker directly from the company’s own website. But you can also find it just about anywhere else. Amazon, B&H Photo, Best Buy, and likely other sports and outdoor stores like REI and many more. Heck, you can even find it at Macy’s.
Worth noting though is that the Black model of the Charge 5 on Amazon may not arrive for some right away. As it shows an arrival date of October 4 while the other two colors show an arrival date of September 28.
When you buy a Fitbit Charge 5 you get a six-month membership to Fitbit Premium, which normally costs $9.99 a month. Fitbit Premium is also required for access to certain features. Like the new Snore Detection feature available on Sense and Versa 3. This feature is also now available today so long as you have the membership.
Fitbit Premium subscribers also now have access to Calm
In addition to Snore Detection, Fitbit Premium subscribers also now have access to Calm. Calm is an app that can be used for meditation, sleep, and more. With content available in 7 different languages that spans guided meditation sessions, breathing programs, and even sleep stories.
