HyperX Expands Microphone Lineup With New Model And Colors

HyperX, today is expanding on its lineup of gaming microphones, announcing a new mic model called the DuoCast. Additionally, the company is launching new colorways of existing microphones. Both the QuadCast S mic and the SoloCast mic can now be picked up in a white colorway.
For anyone looking to brighten up their gaming space a little bit, these new white colorways should do just that. and the brighter color should also help to prevent what is commonly one of the biggest issues with black peripherals. Easily noticeable fingerprints and smudges. Though some tech have a worse issue with it than others.
Both existing microphones can be found in their new white color options via Amazon while the QuadCast S can also be found at Best Buy. The QuadCast S in white goes for $159.99 while the SoloCast goes for $59.99. That being said, the black model of the QuadCast can be picked up on sale for $120. So if you don’t care about the color, the black model saves you money.
HyperX DuoCast mic has a neat tap-to-mute function
Right off the bat the DuoCast mic seems like the mid-level option for HyperX. It doesn’t look quite as nice or premium as the QuadCast and the price sits firmly in between HyperX’s other two options. At $99 though the DuoCast has a lot to offer. It provides cardioid and omnidirectional polar patterns and it comes with a low-profile shock mount.
There’s also a really neat tap-to-mute button on top that just feels like it would be way easier to use than most other options. HyperX says it’s compatible with PC, PS5, PS4, and Mac. Plus it utilizes an internal pop filter and high-rez 24-bit bit-depth with a sampling rate of up to 96kHz.
The DuoCast is already available on sale having just launched today, but is only available at Target for the time being. This is a limited-time exclusivity though. So eventually you should see it at other retailers. You can still also buy it from HyperX directly.
