Tile unveiled some new products today, including the new Tile Sticker, which is already being included in a bundle with a free Echo Dot.
The Tile Sticker is going to cost you $59.99 for a four-pack, but that also comes with an Echo Dot, which makes it a really great deal.
Tile Sticker is basically what it sounds like. It’s a sticker that you can stick on things and then locate them using the Tile app. The company essentially made their tracker into a sticker, which is really cool when you think about it.
These are not super thin stickers either, they are actually pretty thick. It makes sense, since it needs Bluetooth, battery and some other things inside. But being able to stick these Tile Stickers to things is a really great feature. And a great way to keep track of stuff.
The only downside, is that because these are much more compact, you can’t replace the battery yourself. But the battery should last around a year on a charge, so there’s that.
Tile also says that the Bluetooth connectivity is good for around 150-feet. That’s rather impressive. This also means that if you left your keys at the store, and you’re not at the store anymore, you won’t be able to locate it on the Tile app, unfortunately.
This does now work with Alexa, hence the Echo Dot tie-in for this bundle. You can ask Alexa to find something like the remote, your keys, or anything that you have Tile attached too. It also works with the Google Assistant – but this is being sold on Amazon, so the Echo is what it will be bundled with.
