ESPN+ is one of the more popular streaming services on the market right now. Partly because it is only $5 to sign up. Making it a pretty cheap option for sports fanatics.
It brings a number of sporting events, most specificially UFC events, as well as some original programming from a number of athletes. You also get the full catalog of the award-winning 30 For 30 documentary shorts. There’s plenty of content available for sports fans on ESPN+. And the company is working to bring more to the service all of the time.
Some of the original content available on ESPN+ include: Peyton’s Places, Detail from the Mind of Kobe Bryant, Alex Morgan: The Equalizer, The Fantasy Show with Matthew Berry. As well as a few shows to help you take your fantasy sports to the next level, like Lineup Optimizer, Free Agent Recommendations, Auction Value Generator.
ESPN+ is also available on virtually every platform right now. So you’re able to watch it wherever you are. This includes Android, Android TV, Chromecast, Apple TV, iOS, Amazon Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Roku, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Oculus as well as select Samsung Smart TVs.
How much does ESPN+ cost?
ESPN+ will cost you $4.99 per month or $49.99 for the full year. If you splurge for the yearly subscription, it actually gives you two months free (technically).
Now if you have (or want) Hulu and Disney+, you can bundle the three together for just $12.99 per month. That works out to a little more than $4 per month per service. And considering ESPN+ is $4.99, Hulu is $5.99 and Disney+ is $6.99, that is a really great deal.
There are some other add-ons, but they are not monthly. Like the UFC PPVs. Those will cost you $64.99 each time you purchase one. So if you purchased the PPV last month, it was $64.99, but if you didn’t purchase this month’s PPV, then you aren’t getting charged that $64.99.
How do I sign up for ESPN+?
To get started, head to the ESPN+ website.
From there, you can choose to either get ESPN+ or the bundle that includes ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu.
Afterwards, you’ll be asked to either sign up or login to your ESPN account. If you’ve ever created an account on ESPN before, it’s best to use that account.
Once your account is created, ESPN+ will ask you to either choose the monthly or yearly plan – it’s a small check box at the top of the screen. As well as asking for your billing information.
After that’s complete, you’re all set. And ready to start enjoying ESPN+ and all of the content it has to offer.
