Samsung will be unveiling the next phone in the Galaxy S line next month with the Galaxy S20 Ultra being among the models shown, but in the meantime you can catch a glimpse at its potential design thanks to these concept renders.
Worth reiterating is that these are concept images only. Not official images of the phone that show its final design. That being said, the design in these images is based on leaked information to craft a picture of what the phone could look like.
And it seems like it could be a fairly accurate depiction.
The design looks a lot like the Huawei P40 Pro
There are obvious differences between this concept design of the Galaxy S20 Ultra and the latest coming from Huawei. However the design does look fairly similar to the P40 Pro in a few areas.

The most noticeable similarity would have to be the rear-facing camera array. Both phones feature four camera sensors on the back, with a larger rectangular or square-shaped sensor at the bottom of the array.
The camera array is even the same width and height across. The only real major difference being the shape of the dual-LED flash and its placement. On the P40 Pro the flash is on the top and carries more of a pill shape.
On the Galaxy S20 Ultra concept design the flash is on the bottom and carries a circular shape. If the design in the concept is accurate than the Galaxy S20 Ultra could have a periscope lens as one of the four sensors on the back, just like the P40 Pro and just as the rumored specs are suggesting.
Rumored specs point to a stacked device with tons of features
Though it’s tough to tell from the design as these are just concepts, the specs for the Galaxy S20 Ultra are supposed to be fairly powerful. At least based on rumors.
In addition to the four cameras on the back, one of which is supposedly a 108-megapixel sensor for the main camera, the phone is also supposed to come with a 5,000mAh-capacity battery for longer life between charges.
It’s also rumored to come with 12GB and 16GB RAM options, and three different storage size options including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. The Galaxy S20 Ultra is also rumored to be 5G, and is said to be the only option with no LTE model being released.
These concept images were designed by Concept Creator, which has also put together a 3D render video that shows the phone from more angles.
