Samsung will announce several exciting products later today. The company is planning to announce the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Buds+, at the very least.
The company will host its Unpacked 2020 event in San Francisco, California. The event is scheduled to start at 11 AM PST / 2 PM EST / 6 PM CET.
Samsung will livestream Galaxy S20 & Galaxy Z Flip launch via its official website
That being said, Samsung will livestream this event, so you’ll be able to watch everything unfold live. This time around, Samsung will livestream the whole thing via its official website.
The livestream will be available via this link. Only the company’s teaser video is available there at the moment, though, so we were unable to embed the link below the article. We will try to embed it when it becomes available, if not, you can always access it via the provided link.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 series smartphones are the company’s crown jewel, but the Galaxy Z Flip is also worth mentioning. Samsung will announce three Galaxy S20 smartphones, which will become its new flagship handsets.
In addition to that, the Galaxy Z Flip will become the company’s second foldable smartphone. That device has been leaking for quite some time now, along with the Galaxy S20 series.
The Galaxy Z Flip will not be as powerful as the Galaxy S20 smartphones, but it will sure be exciting. This will become Samsung’s first clamshell foldable smartphone, and should keep consumers occupied until the Galaxy Fold 2 launches.
The Galaxy S20 series will consist out of three smartphones, the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. All three of those phones have been leaking for quite some time now, and we pretty much know what to expect.
All three will be made out of metal and glass, and will include a display camera hole which will be centered. The S20 Ultra is expected to include a frame made out of stainless steel, while the other two phones will sport a frame made out of aluminum.
The S20 Ultra will be the largest, heaviest, and most powerful handset in the series
The Galaxy S20 Ultra will be the largest of the S20 smartphones. It will also be considerably heavier than the other two phones, and slightly more powerful.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra is expected to include the most powerful camera setup on the back as well. All three phones will sport 120Hz WQHD+ displays, and all of those panels will be curved.
On top of those smartphones, Samsung is also expected to announce the Galaxy Buds+. These are the company’s new fully wireless earbuds, and are quite similar to their predecessor. The company may surprise us with some additional announcements still, tune in to the company’s press conference to find out more.
