Currently it is listed at $28.89, down from $33.99. But there is a coupon on the page that you can clip and it will take another $4 off. Bringing it down to just $24.89. Which, considering how much power you’re getting from this power strip, is a really good price.
This power strip is a really good option to put on your desk, and with most of us working from home now, that’s a good purchase. This one has two AC outlets – one on either side. And then in the front there are two USB-A ports with PowerIQ technology and a USB-C PD port in the center.
The USB-C PD port will only deliver around 18W of power, so it’s not really great for charging a laptop – at least not while you’re using it. It’s more geared towards charging a smartphone. Which most smartphones can charge at up to 18W on USB-C these days, so that’s good to see.
While the USB-A ports use PowerIQ – Anker’s own proprietary technology – for fast charging. It will charge at up to 2.4A. That’s pretty slow for 2020 smartphones, so it will likely charge every phone at that speed. But it is definitely nice to have available.
This is going to be a really good power strip to have on your desk for charging a smartphone and a tablet, or even a smartwatch. And also having a couple of outlets available for plugging in other things. Like maybe your laptop charger, or something else. It is really useful to have power outlets available on your desk.
