There's A Boatload Of New Ubisoft Games Coming To Stadia

Ubisoft has been a big supporter of Stadia since the beginning, and that’s good news for Ubisoft fans because a whole slew of new games from the publisher are on their way.
Some of these games are new titles and some of them are older titles that have been out for a year or more. But all of them are from Ubisoft’s biggest franchises including Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, and Ghost Recon. Of the new Ubisoft games coming to Stadia, the first one to land will be Watch Dogs: Legion. Which is launching for the platform on October 29.
New Ubisoft games on Stadia are a healthy mix of old and new
Players shouldn’t be expecting 30+ games here. As Ubisoft isn’t releasing its entire back catalog of game titles from the last 20+ years. It is however releasing ten new games between next week and the next few months.
As noted above the first title to land on Stadia out of the new ones that were announced will be Watch Dogs: Legion.
After that, players will get to jump into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. This is launching on Stadia day and date with other platforms on November 10. So anyone who pre-orders should be able to play around the same time as everyone else on launch day.
The only other game on the list which has a confirmed release date is Far Cry 6. Which will be launching on Stadia on February 18 of 2021.
Hopefully you really like Assassin’s Creed
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla isn’t the only AC game that’s on its way. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is already available of course, but in addition to that and Valhalla, Ubisoft is bringing three more games from the franchise.
This includes Assassin’s Creed Origins, the title released before Odyssey, as well as Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Assassin’s Creed Unity.
Players will also have access to Watch Dogs and Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, and Ghost Recon Wildlands. None of those games have release dates though. So if you’re hoping to play them on Stadia anytime soon, you may not get the chance. Not for a little while at least.
Uplay+ will also be available on Stadia at some point in the future. Though there is no confirmed date yet, this service will be an add-on and offer up a much larger library of Ubisoft games for players. None of which players will have to buy because they’ll be part of the Uplay+ subscription cost. Whatever that ends up being.
