League Of Legends: Wild Rift Open Beta Reaches 5 New Regions

Riot Games has just launched availability of the League of Legends: Wild Rift open beta in 5 new regions today. Expanding the total number of countries where players are able to hop in and start battling for supremacy of the Nexus.
Prior to this morning’s expansion of new regions where Wild Rift is now playable, the game’s open beta was available to people in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, The Philippines, and South Korea.
Riot’s new rollout though isn’t limited to 5 new countries. Which means there are going to be A LOT more new players starting from today. That bodes well for the game itself. Because that means Riot will get more testing in, and will be able to use that testing data to make the game better when it rolls out access to even more regions in 2021.
League Of Legends: Wild Rift new regions include Europe and more
Out of the five new regions, Europe seems to be the biggest. Riot doesn’t mention any specific countries in Europe here. So it’s highly likely that any country in Europe has general access to the open beta.
If you live in Europe and like League of Legends, you should check to see if it’s available for your to install. Keeping in mind that rollouts of the open beta may be staggered and reach some users before others.
In addition to Europe, players in Russia and CIS, Turkey, North Africa, and the Middle East all should have access. Riot says the open beta is now live in these regions as of a tweet it sent out this morning about 8 hours ago.
US likely won’t have access until the middle of next year
Riot hasn’t given out specifics for when the US would be getting access to the open beta. Just that it would be in the Spring of 2021 for the Americas.
With new regions being rolled out this morning though, it probably won’t be too long before Riot opens up access to the US and other countries in North America.
If you’re waiting patiently to play, you might still be waiting a while. But you can also bypass the regions by using a VPN to play if you have to get into the game as early as possible. And that process doesn’t take too long to get through.
That being said, you will have to stay connected to the VPN while you play, since League Of Legends: Wild Rift is an online game.
