Call Of Duty: Mobile is gearing up for its next big season, season 13 – Winter War, introducing a whole lot of festive content for players.
As players have come to expect, since there’s a new season there will be a new battle pass, new maps, new game modes, skins and more. There will be a new event too. And much of the new content will be centered around one of the most festive holidays of the year. Christmas.
Those looking to dive into this new content will have to wait until 4PM PST on December 21 to get access. At which point the game should tell you that there’s an update available to install.
Call Of Duty: Mobile season 13 will have two new multiplayer maps

As with each new season, players can look forward to two new multiplayer maps. At least Activision is calling them new. Really, they’re just existing maps with a winter theme to them.
That being said, there are some differences. For example, Nuke Town is now going to be Nuke Town Russia. Everything will have a Russian winter aesthetic. And snow will be covering the ground as well as roof tops.
The second map is Raid, called Holiday Raid, and will be draped in snow along with light covered Christmas trees.
Grind your way to victory in a new multiplayer mode
New maps aren’t the only thing to look forward to with season 13. As noted there’s a new multiplayer mode on the horizon as well.
It’s called Grind, and if you play Modern Warfare you may already be familiar with it. Take a dash of Hardpoint, and a sprinkling of Kill Confirmed, and you’ve got Grind. You’ll still need to pick up dog tags from enemy players whether they’re killed by you or by members of your team. But now you’ll also have to deposit those dog tags at a specific location on the map.
Giving you an extra layer of challenge in raising the point score for your own team.
Conquer new seasonal challenges and snag a new mythic weapon

The main seasonal event is called On The Brink, and will require you to activate sleeper agents. All you have to do in order to achieve this goal is player multiplayer matches and/or battle royale matches.
And while you play you can unlock an assortment of new items to add to your arsenal. Such as new epic, rare, and uncommon weapons and items for your loadout.
There’s also a new SMG entering the game called the QXR. You can unlock this by playing and completing challenges for this season. And if you’re the type to spend a little bit of money on this game, you can look forward to a new mythic weapon being added to the mix.
Activision hasn’t shared the name or a complete image of the weapon yet, but it does state that it „uses the Peacekeeper MK2 as its core.” It features bullets wrapped in magma which give a red, yellow, „and something alien” bullet tracer effect, and will have a handful of different customization options.
