GeForce NOW has had some recent time in the spotlight thanks to its upgrade to the RTX 4080 SuperPODs, but as always content is king, making games the biggest factor in the service’s success, and this week NVIDIA is adding Baldur’s Gate 3.
This isn’t NVIDIA’s strongest week when it comes to the sheer number of titles added. Presenting subscribers with just three games in total for the week of February 9. But the add of a large game like Baldur’s Gate 3 that was highly anticipated for some time, probably makes up for that. To put it another way, what this week lacks in quantity, is made up for in quality.
As is the case with every game on GeForce NOW, you will need to own the games on a specific game client. Such as Steam, which is where Baldur’s Gate 3 is available.
Baldur’s Gate 3 joins GeForce NOW with two other games
Baldur’s Gate 3 may be the biggest game, but it’s certainly not the only game being added today. Subscribers will also have access to Recipe for Disaster, and Inside the Backrooms. Recipe for Disaster is one you may want to check out. Especially since it’s free on the Epic Games Store from today until February 16. If you’ve not played Recipe for Disaster yet it’s definitely at least worth checking out.
It’s a fun time management sim that puts you in control of a professional kitchen. You get to be the decider on everything from what goes on the menu to designing the entire restaurant. Normally the game cost $16.99. so it makes for a great option if you want some more casual to play.
Outside of new games, GeForce NOW subscribers can also earn new rewards to celebrate the service’s third anniversary. This week, members can pick up some in-game items for Dying Light 2. And even more rewards will be on the way in the near future.
