Naya Create Modular Keyboard Now Up for Grabs

The Naya Create modular keyboard is now generally available for purchase after being available exclusively on Kickstarter. What makes this tech unique is its split hinge design that allows adjusting each half independently. This provides a natural wrist posture and reduces arm pronation. It gets a metal unibody design, making it quite durable.

The assistive features of the Naya Create make it special when compared to other regular or mechanical keyboards on the market. Additionally, you get attachable modules with different functionalities. These attachments include a trackball, a touchpad, and a pair of input dials. The dials get a dynamic haptic motor that adjusts resistance based on the software.

The hardware of the keyboard is assisted by Naya Flow software. This application lets users manage the ecosystem of devices for building their own setups via drag-and-drop keymapping.

The modular keyboard gets hot-swappable keys

The columnar-staggered key layout positions are manufactured to align with natural finger movements. This offers a more fluid and less fatiguing typing experience, as per the company. The actual keys are hot-swappable, allowing users to switch between clicky, linear, or tactile switches. As said, the keyboard boasts a metal unibody and “durable, custom-sculpted, laser-etched polycarbonate keycaps.”

The Naya Create modular keyboard connects to devices via Bluetooth, low-latency RF, or USB-C cable. The keyboard also includes RGB keycap lighting. The in-box accessories, along with the keyboard, include a hardshell travel case for securely carrying it around and an accessory kit with switch samples and a keycap puller.

Price, availability

The Naya Create modular keyboard’s price starts at $499.99. However, the modular accessories are extra, ranging from $80 to $180. You can customize the keyboard and purchase it from the official website. The shipments will begin at the end of the month.
