Among all the clips, some clearly demonstrate the zoom function working. The important thing here is how the animation points toward the device offering up to a massive 100x zoom.

This potential upgrade is significant. A 100x zoom capability would immediately place the Galaxy Z tri-fold in the same photographic league as the Galaxy S Ultra series. It also suggests that it would be the company’s first foldable device with at least 5x optical zoom. The current 3x zoom limitations have been a sticking point for seven generations of the Z Fold, forcing buyers of Samsung’s most expensive phone to accept a camera compromise that lower-priced devices easily surpass.
