Sony’s INZONE gaming brand is still sort of in its early years, but Sony is finally deciding to branch out beyond over-ear headphones and gaming monitors with the INZONE E9 In-Ear Monitors and other peripherals.
This will be Sony’s first time branching out and expanding to peripherals that aren’t over-ear headphones. It’s an interesting direction given how saturated the PC gaming peripheral market is these days. Sony is wading into waters that are dominated by the likes of Logitech G, SteelSeries, and Razer. And while Sony is a seasoned consumer electronics brand that has been around longer than any of them, it’s never made the majority of PC gaming peripherals before. However, Sony has done its due diligence with regard to research on the path to bringing these peripherals to market.
Sony launches INZONE E9 in-ear monitors, new H9 II headphones, a keyboard, and more
Sony’s INZONE E9 in-ear monitors are an exciting addition to the accessories it already offers. That being said, the more intriguing releases are its gaming keyboard, gaming mouse, and mouse mat. The mouse mat will come in two different varieties. One with a slightly thicker mat and a more control-focused surface, and one that’s designed for speed.
The INZONE Mat-F is a control-type mouse mat that’s designed to ensure you have more precision with your movements, and the INZONE Mat-D is geared toward speed so you have super-fast flicks. There’s also the INZONE KBD-H75 gaming keyboard and the INZONE Mouse-A gaming mouse. The keyboard features a 75% format and a case that’s made completely of metal, as the chassis is CNC-machined aluminum. It also has an 8,000Hz polling rate, RGB backlighting, and rapid trigger features for customizing the actuation points.
The mouse, on the other hand, is an extremely lightweight mouse for those who like to flick their wrist around while playing. Coming in at just 48.4 g, the INZONE Mouse-A lends itself well to the player who moves their whole arm when playing. It also has an 8,000Hz polling rate just like the keyboard, as well as a 30K DPI. Additionally, it has up to 90 hours of battery life for sustained gameplay.
All of the accessories are now available for pre-order
Sony’s latest INZONE accessories aren’t launching till a little later this year, but you can pre-order them now if you want to get a head start on these coming in. There is one exception when it comes to availability and it’s with the INZONE Mouse-A. While it should be available on Amazon, it shows it’s currently unavailable. You can, however, pre-order it from Sony directly, while all the other peripherals are up on Amazon.
