Samsung has quietly expanded its range of Qi2-certified chargers by launching two new products in the US. There’s one called the Single Wireless Charger for home, while the other one is a Car Wireless Charger. These new chargers allow users to charge their Galaxy phones conveniently at home, in the office, or in their car.
Features of Samsung’s new Qi2 wireless chargers
Samsung’s new Single Wireless Charger supports Qi2 magnetic fast charging and uses a strong built-in magnet to align your device when paired with a similar case. It is a puck-shaped wireless charger that weighs about 80g and comes with a 1.5mm cable for flexibility in placement.
As for the new Car Wireless Charger, it offers Qi2.0 MPP (Magnetic Power Profile) support and a robust magnet to keep the phone stable even on bumpy rides, as per the brand. Its mount provides 360-degree rotation to let users adjust the handset’s angle while navigating maps. The brand claims the device aims to manage heat during charging in a vehicle setting.
Support for up to 25W fast wireless charging
Samsung’s new Qi2 chargers support up to 25W fast wireless charging. However, the actual performance depends on phone compatibility and the power adapter. The brand is aiming to sell the new devices to users of the latest flagships phones, such as the Galaxy S25, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Z Fold 7.
Samsung has priced the Single Wireless Charger on its website in the US at $34.99. The new wireless car charger also doesn’t come cheap, with a heavy price tag of $84.99. You can purchase both items on the company’s e-store in the US, and the brand plans to launch them in more regions in the coming weeks.
