That’s based on a recent teardown of an incoming update, highlighting potential upcoming features. Including at least one new feature that Pro members will certainly be excited for.
The biggest change, however, is undoubtedly going to be the appearance of several new languages. Suggesting that Google Stadia is coming to new regions. Specifically, if the underlying code bears out, to Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Turkey. With the latter location potentially including Northern Cypress.
Tucked into the code with the most recent update to Stadia 4.26, the app includes support for “es-MX” for Mexico. As well as for “es-419” covering the other Spanish-speaking regions noted above. Finally, the language code “tr” has been added. As mentioned earlier, that’s the code for Turkish, spoken chiefly in Turkey and Northern Cypress.
What else is new behind the scenes for Google Stadia with the new update?
In addition to the new languages for new regions, Google has also added some behind-the-scenes code hinting at new features. The biggest of those is almost certainly the addition of a new “Claim all” button.
That will, once added, presumably allow Pro users to claim all of a given month’s free titles with a single tap or click. That’s as opposed to scrolling through available Pro titles and selecting them one at a time. Typically, once selected, users also need an additional selection on the “claim” button.
A new “Tips and tricks action” is in the works as well. The implication seems to be that Google wants to offer game-specific help to users. That would fall in line with Assistant-based features found on the platform. Or, conversely, Google wants to rework how users get help with system-level issues. Such as networking and game quality.
Finally, the search giant appears to be adding in the beginnings of code to support motion controls with the addition of code pointing to a Flutter plugin’s “platform channel” name. Specifically, the name for motion-based controls. And Google is also adding code pointing to a more mysterious “MultiStream” feature. Although what exactly that is, once it appears in the apps and online, remains to be seen.
The post Google Stadia Is Expanding To New Regions, Not Shutting Down appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Hot off the heels of news that the Google cloud gaming platform, Stadia, isn’t shutting down, the company is actually […]

[1

post-10118","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
