Back during CES 2022, Samsung unveiled the Odyssey Arc, a massive gaming monitor that you\u2019ll be able to buy quite soon. As of today, it\u2019s now possible to reserve the Odyssey Arc, and doing so will save you $100 off the retail price when you fully buy it later this year. The thing is, the monitor\u2019s retail price is $3,499.99.
\nThis is more than most people spend on their gaming PC, so you\u2019d think it must come with some pretty insane features, right? Well, it does certainly come with some great gaming features. And ones that any gamer would probably be happy to have at their disposal. Like the large and in charge 55-inch curved 4K Quantum Mini-LED screen. Or the 165Hz refresh rate. The pi\u00e9ce de r\u00e9sistance though, is its ability to rotate the display into cockpit mode. Which is essentially just flipping the screen from horizontal to vertical.
\nIt also comes equipped with Dolby Atmos, which powers the sound to the four corner speakers and two central woofers. Which could alleviate any need for external speakers or soundbars. Seeing as you\u2019d need all the desk space you can get.

While the monitor can be reserved today, it\u2019s not actually available for sale yet. But Samsung says it will launch in early September, so the wait won\u2019t be long to get your hands on one. Provided you\u2019re willing to spend the money.
\nAlthough pricey, the Odyssey Arc has a lot to offer. Including for console gamers. The monitor features a 16:9 aspect ratio, which means you won\u2019t have to deal with those unsightly black bars on the side of the screen when playing on your PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. Samsung also addresses another pain point with numerous gaming monitors. Terrible access to menu settings and monitor functions.
\nThe Odyssey Arc comes with what Samsung calls the Arc Dial. A solar-powered wireless remote that lets you plug through the menus. In short, the Odyssey Arc is a premium gaming monitor with a premium price. With a bunch of snazzy features. And if you\u2019re so inclined, it can be yours sometime within the next month.
