We\u2019re back with another giveaway, this time we are giving away a brand new Google Pixel 6a. It\u2019s US only once again, and you can read on for all the details.
\nThe Pixel 6a was announced back in May at Google I\/O. However, pre-orders did not open until July 21, with them being available on July 28. So we\u2019ve had to wait quite a while for the new Pixel 6a, but it\u2019s definitely worth the wait. This phone is being called the best sub-$500 smartphone of 2022.
\nAbout the Google Pixel 6a
\nThe Pixel 6a is the latest smartphone from Google. It runs on Android 12, as well as Google\u2019s own custom chipset, Tensor SoC. Additionally, it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with a pretty large 4410mAh capacity battery. One of the downsides here is that it is still a 60Hz display.
\nUnlike the higher-end Pixel 6 models, the Pixel 6a doesn\u2019t feature new cameras. It\u2019s the same 12-megapixel camera that Google has used on every Pixel from Pixel 2 through Pixel 5a. It\u2019s not a bad sensor, but it is starting to show its age. For the first time on an a-series Pixel, the Pixel 6a gets a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor as well. These two cameras are likely going to be the best on any smartphone in this price range.
\nThe Pixel 6a will work on all of the carriers \u2013 including MVNO\u2019s like Google Fi, Cricket, Straight Talk, Xfinity Mobile, and others. The one in this giveaway is unlocked, so you\u2019ll have no issue using this with your existing carrier.
