Apex Legends Mobile is getting a new legend by the name of Crypto as part of an event called Hyperbeat. While Crypto is not mobile-exclusive legend, he does have some reworks that were put in place for his mobile debut. For example, one of his core abilities \u2013 the aerial drones he deploys \u2013 will follow him around in Apex Legends Mobile and automatically track opponents.
\nHis drones will only be up for a short period of time before the ability enters a cooldown. But the fact that they automatically follow around your enemies should make them a little easier to use. Especially on a mobile device. In addition to his passive Neurolink ability, Crypto has two other main abilities to keep track of.
\nHis tactical ability, called Surveillance Drone, is similar to the Neurolink ability except you can pilot this drone. Lastly there\u2019s his ultimate ability called Drone EMP, which not only deals damage to shields, but also disables traps and slows enemies.
\nCrypto drops into Apex Legends Mobile on August 23
\nBefore you rush out to acquire Crypto, he\u2019s not joining the Apex Legends Mobile roster until tomorrow, August 23. Since he\u2019s part of the Hyperbeat event that drops the same day.
