Thus, it uses its AI know-how for most of its services. That led to an issue where the company locked one parent out of their Google account due to medical photos he had to take of his child.<br \/>\nThis news comes to us from The New York Times (9To5Google), and it all went down in early 2021. The father, whose name is said to be Mark, had to send medical photos of his son to a doctor in order to assess the illness he was suffering. The images in question were of his son\u2019s groin area.<br \/>\nThese images are why Google locked the parent out of his account<br \/>\nAs you can imagine, these images did not fly with Google, as about two days later, Mark got the notification that he was locked out of his account. The story only gets worse from there as Mark tried to receive his data. For starters, Google denied his attempt to appeal the change; the company had made up its mind. After that, the case was brought to San Francisco, and they were able to confirm to Google that the images were not illegal.<br \/>\nThough the SFPD contacted Google over the images, Google still denied reinstating his account. Taking the company to court would have been around a $7,000 expense, so that was out of the question.<br \/>\nThat is bad for anyone with a Google account<br \/>\nThis is a bad situation for anyone who relies on a Google Account. Google has become an all-encompassing force in the tech market. One account holds a cloud service, office suite, email client, YouTube account, chatting service, password storage service, and much more. Losing access to your Google account can severely disrupt a person\u2019s business or life.<br \/>\nThis is an issue that Google will need to work on if it doesn\u2019t want to look bad in the public eye. We\u2019re not sure if the company will ever let Mark get back into his account.
