The last stadium show in the UK was in June 2003. However, the last major WWE show in the UK was Summerslam 1992. So it’s about time the UK gets a big stadium show. And WWE Clash at the Castle will be taking place in Cardiff, Whales at the Principality Stadium. It can hold 74,500 people, so this is bound to be a big show, even for the WWE.
However, the WWE could also rope off half of the stadium like they did at Nissan Stadium for Summerslam last month. Where only the side shown on TV was “full”. But given how historic this is, there’s likely to be more people there.
Heading into Clash at the Castle, we have a big match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre. Two superstars that WWE’s former chairman, Vince McMahon hand-picked to be the future of the WWE. We also have Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan taking on Shayna Baszler, after having defeated her friend Ronda Rousey just a month ago at Summerslam in Nashville.
Despite the Saturday afternoon start time, Clash at the Castle is going to be a big show for the WWE.
How To Watch WWE Clash At The Castle 2022
In the US, you can watch Clash at the Castle on Peacock. It’s cheaper than the WWE Network was at just $4.99 per month. And if you have Comcast or Spectrum, you can get it for free. The PPV is included in the cost of Peacock. So it’s a no-brainer to sign up for Peacock. Which you can do here.
Outside of the US, you can watch WWE SummerSlam 2022 on the WWE Network.
Main Event Preview
The Main Event will see the WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns put his titles on the line against the challenger Drew McIntyre. These two have never really fought one-on-one, so this is bound to be a pretty good match. And given that McIntyre is from the UK (Scotland), we could see him walk out with one or both championship belts. Or, he could win by disqualification, and keep the fans happy.
Though many are expecting that a stipulation will be put in place on tonight’s Smackdown before Clash at the Castle that will make the match for one of the two belts. This is because they don’t see Reigns losing his titles this soon. And it’s also been rumored that USA wants a title on Raw on their network. Instead of having both on Smackdown on Fox now.
A match that could steal the show is Riddle vs Seth Rollins. These two have been at each other for months, and was set to wrestle at Summerslam last month. But Riddle ended up getting injured and wasn’t cleared. But now he is, and the fight has gotten personal. Last Monday on Raw, Riddle told Rollins that the only man in his marriage is Becky Lynch (The Man). Rollins’ comeback was pretty epic, telling Riddle his family left him. In real life, Riddle recently went through a divorce and his ex-wife also has custody of the kids. So this could get pretty ugly on Saturday.
WWE Clash at the Castle Match Card
Here’s the full match card for WWE Clash at the Castle, which is subject to change as per usual.
WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Drew McIntyre.
Riddle vs. Seth Rollins.
SmackDown Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan (c) vs. Shayna Baszler.
Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Sheamus.
Edge and Rey Mysterio vs. Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka vs. Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky.
What time does WWE Clash at the Castle start?
WWE Clash at the Castle takes place in Cardiff, Whales this time around. As mentioned, its WWE’s first stadium show in the UK in 30 years, so it’s a big deal. Due to the time difference, the Premium Live Event actually starts earlier than usual.
Clash at the Castle will start at 1PM ET, or 10AM PT. So if you are in the US, specifically on the west coast, you’ll need to get up a bit early to catch the full show on Peacock. Typically, these events last a solid 3-4 hours. However, the match card is quite short this time around, so it may be over sooner – or some matches might get more time.
The post How To Watch WWE Clash At The Castle 2022 appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

WWE is headed across the pond for its first PPV in the UK in 19 years.
