Google actually bought Nest back in 2014, which led to a revolt from iPhone users and even Apple stopping sales of Nest products in its stores. It has been a rather rocky road for Nest, but in 2021, it released quite a few new products that brings it back to the top spot in smart home products.
Today, we’re going to list all of the best Google Nest products that you can buy for your smart home. This includes thermostats, smoke detectors, security cameras and much more.
Best Google Nest Products
The majority of these products were released in 2021, which is actually quite surprising for Nest. Considering they normally release one or two updates per year. And with very few design changes. However, now you can really set up an entire smart home with Nest products.

Cost
Where to Buy
Nest Doorbell (Battery)
$179
Google Store
Nest Doorbell (Wired)
$179
Best Buy
Nest WiFi Pro
Starting at $199
Best Buy
Nest Protect
$113
Amazon
Google Nest Thermostat
$99
Amazon
Nest Cam (Battery)
$179
Google Store
Nest Cam (Wired)
$99
Google Store
Google Nest Audio
$99
Best Buy
Nest Hub Max
$229
Best Buy
Google Nest WiFi
$219
Amazon
Google Nest Hub
$99
Best Buy
Nest Doorbell (Battery)

Price: $179
Where to buy: Google Store
The Nest Doorbell (Battery) is the first battery-powered doorbell from Nest. Previously, you had to hook it up to your existing wiring, but now you have the choice of whether to do that or not. The Nest Doorbell (Battery) is a pretty slim and sleek doorbell, though it is also very tall. Luckily it does come in a variety of colors to choose from.
With this doorbell, you’ll be able to see who’s at your door thanks to the wide-angle camera that streams in 1080p resolution. You can check to see who is there from your smartphone, your smart display, or even your TV. All of which is really incredible.
Nest Doorbell (Battery) – Google Store
Nest Doorbell (Wired)

Price: $179
Where to buy: Best Buy
After releasing its first wireless doorbell in 2021, Nest has now updated its wired doorbell to be essentially the same, but smaller. The Nest Doorbell Wired is a smaller doorbell from Nest, and because it’s wired, it can actually do more. Like continuous recording for 10 days with Nest Aware Plus.
Because it doesn’t need a battery, it’s smaller, doesn’t look so huge next to your front door, which is pretty nice.
Nest Doorbell (Wired) – Best Buy
Nest WiFi Pro

Price: $199 for a single pack, $299 for a 2-pack, $399 for a 3-pack
Where to buy: Best Buy
The Nest WiFi Pro is an affordable WiFi 6E router that you can now pick up, starting at under $200. Which isn’t too shabby. Unlike the regular Nest WiFi, this will cover more area, around 2,200 square-feet for a one-pack. Compared to only 1500 square-feet on a one-pack of Nest WiFi.
Unfortunately, this is not compatible with the Nest WiFi, so you’ll have to go all-in on WiFi 6E if you opt to get the Nest WiFi Pro.
Nest WiFi Pro – Best Buy
Google Nest Protect

Price: $113
Where to buy: Amazon
The Nest Protect is one of the few products that has not been updated since Google bought the company. But then again, what else needs to be done for a smoke detector? The Nest Protect is a smoke detector and a carbon monoxide detector in one.
What makes the Nest Protect so cool, though, is that it can alert you on your phone if it detects smoke, fire or carbon monoxide.
Google Nest Protect – Amazon
Google Nest Thermostat

Price: $99
Where to buy: Amazon
With this new Nest Thermostat, Google rethought the product that made Nest who it is today. This Nest Thermostat is way cheaper than the original Nest Thermostat – which was $249. It’s also slimmer, and fits into your home decor a bit better.
Google offers the Nest Thermostat in a few different colors: Charcoal, Fog, Sand, and Snow.
You’ll be able to adjust the heat and AC from your smartphone, or using your voice with the Google Assistant. This will also help you to save money on your energy bill. In fact, it will pay for itself within the first year, if not sooner.
Google Nest Thermostat – Amazon
Nest Cam (Battery)

Price: $179
Where to buy: Google Store
Believe it or not, before 2021, Nest did not have a battery-operated camera. The Nest Cam (Battery) is the first of its kind and can work inside and out. Allowing you to put this outside to work with the Nest Doorbell (Battery) and see who is outside your home. Or you can put it in your home to keep an eye on your pets. It can work while being plugged in as well.
The base is magnetic, but can be screwed into a wall. However, the magnets in the base are super strong. They are so strong that you may have trouble taking the camera down to charge it.
The camera is able to stream in 1080p resolution, which is pretty average for wire-free cameras. It can also use night vision to see after the sun sets.
Nest Cam (Battery) – Google Store
Nest Cam (Wired)

Price: $99
Where to buy: Google Store
The Google Nest Cam (Wired) is the cheapest camera that Nest has ever put out. At $99, it’s a really good value, and comes in a flurry of colors too.
It’s a pretty basic camera, for example, it does not have a battery and needs to be plugged in at all times. It also does not work outside, since it is not weatherproof. It does stream in 1080p resolution, and you can view that stream on your smartphone, smart display or even your smart TV if you have Android TV or Google TV.
Nest Cam (Wired) – Google Store
Nest Audio

Price: $99
Where to buy: Best Buy
The Nest Audio is a smart speaker from Google. That means that the Google Assistant lives inside. Allowing you to control your smart home products with your voice on the Nest Audio. It also plays some really great music. Given the size, you can expect some killer audio quality out of this one, and that’s exactly what you get here.
Google offers the Nest Audio in five colors (for now), that includes charcoal, sky, sage, sand and chalk. Mostly the same colors as the Nest Mini.
Nest Audio – Best Buy
Nest Hub Max

Price: $229
Where to buy: Best Buy
The Nest Hub Max is the larger of the two smart displays that Google has – and the only one with a camera. The camera allows you to do video chatting from the smart display, but it also lets you use the camera as a security camera in your home. Allowing you to see what’s happening when you’re not at home.
With the Nest Hub Max, you get a more visual Google Assistant. Which can be very useful for different things. Like asking about the weather, or asking Google to show you the camera or doorbell.
Nest Hub Max – Best buy
Google Nest WiFi

Price: $219
Where to buy: Amazon
Nest WiFi is one of the newer additions to the Nest family. Essentially, it is a Mesh WiFi system, that is going to provide excellent coverage for your home. And it is pretty necessary if you are adding a lot of smart home products to your home. That is because the more devices connected, typically the worse your WiFi will be. But not with Mesh WiFi.
This here is a two-pack and will cover up to 4400 square-feet. There are single and three-packs that are also available.
Google Nest WiFi – Amazon
Nest Hub

Price: $99
Where to buy: Best Buy
This is the second-generation Nest Hub, which is actually a lot smaller than you might expect. It has a 7-inch display, and would work well in a kitchen, or even in the bedroom next to your bed. There’s no camera on this one, but you can still stream your Nest cameras on this display.
What’s really interesting about this smart display, is Project Soli. The radar sensor that was in the Pixel 4 series, is now in this smart display, and is a bit of a better fit. That sensor can be used to do different gestures, like swiping through pictures, or play/pausing music, and even skipping to the next song. But perhaps the coolest part is the fact that it can track your sleep and does it pretty well.
Nest Hub – Best Buy
The post Best Google Nest Products For Your Smart Home – November 2022 appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Like Amazon, Google has it’s own brand for its smart home products – Nest.
