The Naga originally debuted in 2009 and was at first, only available in a wired option. And while things have changed over the years as Razer refreshed it, adding new features and sprucing up the design, one thing has stayed constant. It’s still the best MMO mouse on the planet.
Like the last version of the Naga, the Naga V2 Pro offers a multi-purpose build that comes with three magnetically attached side panels. Each with a series of buttons geared towards a specific set of game types. The 12-button side panel for MMOs, the 6-button side panel for games like League Of Legends and DOTA 2, and the 2-button side panel for FPS games like Modern Warfare II.
Though, you can use any side panel you want for whichever one suits you and your playstyle. I’m partial to the 12-button side panel in most games for example. Including looter shooters like Destiny 2.
The Razer Naga V2 Pro supports Qi wireless charging

The V2 version of the Naga will be offered in two models. The Naga V2 Pro (replacing the Naga Pro), and the Naga V2 HyperSpeed. Both mice are wireless, but Razer has done some interesting with the V2 HyperSpeed. It takes a single AA battery. It’s also set up to sit diagonally to keep the mouse weight balanced.
The Naga V2 Pro on the other hand supports Qi wireless charging, or it can be charged via USB-C. Slowly but surely, Razer has been swapping out the atrocious micro-USB port that’s been present on its wireless mice for years. Thankfully, it’s now the Naga’s turn. Worth noting as well, is that the wireless charging can be done via Razer’s new Mouse Dock Pro, or any Qi-certified wireless charger.
Outside of the way these are powered, both mice are relatively the same. The V2 Pro comes with up to 22 programmable controls, and the V2 HyperSpeed has up to 20. Both offer 19 programmable buttons. Both also use the Focus Pro 30K optical sensor and both can connect wirelessly through either the 2.4GHz HyperSpeed wireless or Bluetooth.
The Naga V2 Pro is available starting today at $179.99, and the Naga V2 HyperSpeed is available for $99.99. That being said, Amazon currently has the original Naga Pro on sale for $99.99. So if you want the three side panels, which the V2 HyperSpeed doesn’t have, you can get the old Pro model for the same price currently.
Razer Naga V2 Pro
Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed
The post The best MMO gaming mouse just got better appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Razer has officially announced the Naga V2 Pro, the next iteration of its popular and long-running MMO gaming mouse.
