Warzone 2.0 will have a massive download size of around 115GB, according to a recent tweet from dataminer Aggiorlamenti Lumia on Twitter (via Insider Gaming\u2019s Tom Henderson). This shouldn\u2019t be too surprising for anyone who has installed the original Warzone at any point in time after its launch. On consoles, Warzone was close to 100GB. And this was on top of the files size for Modern Warfare (2019).
\nOn PC though, the original Warzone took up about 175GB of space. Which means if you\u2019re playing Warzone 2.0 on PC, be prepared for an even heftier download size. While the exact file size on PC isn\u2019t known yet, the 115GB download was datamined from Xbox information. Suggesting that PlayStation players can probably expect a similar download size.
\nThat leaves us with PC. And judging from the PC download of the original Warzone, it\u2019s likely to be closer to that mark. Either way, the game will be big. So you may want to start clearing out some space if you\u2019re planning to play. Assuming you need to make room of course.<\/p>\n

The Warzone 2.0 download size will be on top of Modern Warfare II
\nAs if it needs to be said, but Warzone 2.0\u2019s big, big game file size will be on top of what you already have installed for Modern Warfare II. Unfortunately, there\u2019s no way around using up all that space. Short of only installing one game or the other, or not playing them at all.
\nIt\u2019s also an issue that\u2019s been around for quite some time in video games. The more impressive they get visually, the larger the download sizes have become. Of course, it doesn\u2019t help the situation when you have large sprawling maps like the upcoming Al Mazrah. Such is the trade-off for having games with massive maps and better graphics.
\nWarzone 2.0 is set to launch officially on November 16 alongside season 1 and the season 1 battle pass. Pre-load for the game will start on November 14.
