\nThis is the only streaming company on the face of the internet that\u2019s doing this, and it\u2019s, undoubtedly, causing people to drop the subscription service.

\nThe company has been testing this out in several countries such as Peru and Canada, and folks in the States have been anticipating it reaching them. Well, that time is almost upon US users, as Netflix announced that it\u2019s abolishing password sharing in Q2 2023. Guess what, we\u2019re in Q2 2023!
\nThis means that US users should see the change happening sometime within the next couple of months. The company didn\u2019t give us an exact date, and that just makes this whole affair that much more annoying.
\nIn a letter to its shareholders, Netflix stated that it expanded the paid password-sharing policy to four markets in the first quarter of the year and it was pleased with the results. So, there might be something to this plan. If you\u2019re on someone else\u2019s account, you\u2019d better watch as much content as you can while you still can!
