According to Ice Universe, the iconic bezel ring will exist on the \u201ctop model\u201d of the upcoming Samsung smartwatch. Rumors are that it will arrive as the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The watch will also feature a \u201d rather narrow bezel.\u201d<br \/>\nGalaxy Watch 6 Classic with a rotating bezel seems to be happening<br \/>\nSamsung\u2019s smartwatches have featured a physical rotating bezel since the \u201cGear\u201d days. The company re-branded the wearable lineup to \u201cGalaxy\u201d in 2018 and kept the bezel ring intact. It launched a couple of Active-series models without it in 2019, but the signatory rotating bezel returned the following year.<br \/>\nIn 2021, Samsung made another major change in its smartwatch strategy. It switched from the in-house Tizen platform to Google\u2019s WearOS. However, the bezel ring wasn\u2019t going anywhere. The company the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in two sizes each, with the Classic model keeping the rotating bezel.<br \/>\nBut in 2022, Samsung disappointed a few Galaxy fans by removing the iconic bezel ring on top. It launched the Galaxy Watch 5 in two sizes and a Galaxy Watch 5 Pro last year but none featured a physical bezel. Instead, the company prioritized a larger battery. It equipped the Pro model with a massive 590mAh battery pack.<br \/>\nTurns out it wasn\u2019t a permanent change. This year\u2019s Galaxy Watch 6 series will come in a similar configuration as Samsung\u2019s 2021 smartwatches. We will get a vanilla model without a physical bezel and a Classic model with a bezel ring. Both options will be available in two sizes. The upcoming watches even share the codename with the 2021 models. Samsung is internally calling them Fresh6 and Wise6, respectively. The respective codenames for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic were Fresh and Wise.<br \/>\nThe new Samsung smartwatches will bring plenty of upgrades<br \/>\nAlong with bringing back the bezel ring, Samsung is also making the screens bigger and sharper with the Galaxy Watch 6 series. The company has cut the bezels around the display to make screens bigger and also upped the resolution. Moreover, we are expecting bigger batteries and a new and improved processor as well. The Galaxy Watch 6\u2019s Exynos W980 is reportedly ten percent faster than Galaxy Watch 5 and 4\u2019s Exynos W920. Overall, the 2023 Samsung smartwatches will bring plenty of upgrades to the table.
