Samsung has got some pretty great deals and discounts on various SSD and PSSD models going on right now, which is perfect if you\u2019re in need of an upgrade for storage of all those upcoming new games.
\nIf you\u2019re on console, both the Samsung 980 Pro with a heatsink in 2TB and 1TB models are on sale right now. This is an excellent SSD for the PS5 and will get you ready for having enough space for upcoming titles like Diablo IV, Final Fantasy XVI and others.
\nThe 2TB model is down to $169.99 from its normal $209.99 price, while the 1TB model is down to $89.99 instead of $139.99. Samsung is also selling its latest NVMe SSD on sale, the 990 Pro. You can pick this up in a 2TB model for $169.99 instead of $239.99, or the 1TB for $99.99 instead of $149.99. Keep in mind this is the model without the heatsink. So it can still be used with PS5, but you\u2019ll need to get a third-party heatsink to attach to it.
\nIt isn\u2019t required to use a heatsink on your PS5 SSD, but Sony highly recommends it. As do we. That being said, the 990 Pro also makes a great option for upgrading your PC\u2019s SSD as well. Diablo IV is coming to PC too after all. And some of this year\u2019s biggest PC games are massive in terms of file size. So you will want all the space you can get.
\nSamsung SSD discounts extend to portable SSDs as well
\nIf you don\u2019t have any more room for an NVMe SSD, Samsung has discounts on portable SSD models as well. These are great for game storage that you may want to take with you on the go. And are perfect for gaming laptop owners.
\nThey can also double as portable storage for all kinds of other stuff like photos, videos and more. While there are a few different models on sale, the one with the best value is probably the 4TB T7 Shield. Normally it costs $349.99 and it\u2019s currently on sale for $219.99.
\nSamsung makes some of the best storage out there. So if you need more space for games or anything else, now\u2019s a good time to upgrade.
