However, Dish promptly jumped up to fill the gap. While it\u2019s far from the likes of T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&amp;T, it\u2019s still growing at a steady rate. According to CNET, Dish announced that it now covers more than 240 million people in the United States.<br \/>\nWhen T-Mobile bought Sprint, one condition of the deal was that Dish would take over Boost Mobile, and aim to be the fourth major signal carrier. In order to do that, it needed to cover a certain number of people by certain deadlines. The company was able to meet these deadlines, and it\u2019s still growing.<br \/>\nDish now covers more than 240 million people in the United States<br \/>\nThe first milestone that Dish had to cross was covering at least 20% of the United States by a specified date last year, and the company was able to pull it off. The new deadline was established for June 14th, 2023. At that point, the company needed to cover at least 70% of the United States.<br \/>\nFortunately for Dish, it was able to reach that milestone and that means that its signals cover more than 240 million people. Now, it is dealing with yet another deadline. The company should cover at least 75% of the US population by 2025.<br \/>\nAs for the network itself, the company still has a long way ahead of it. When it comes to support, there\u2019s only a short list of devices that are compatible with dishes specific bands. One thing that makes a carrier successful is the selection of phones that can be purchased.<br \/>\nFor the time being, the phones compatible with Dish\u2019s network include the Samsung Galaxy A23, Boost Celero 5G Plus, and the Motorola Edge+ (2022 and 2023 editions). Potentially, the iPhone 14 could be compatible.
