The X Premium+ or Premium Plus subscriptions are now nearly 40 percent more expensive in various regions across the globe. The company said that it is raising the pricing to help bolster the platform\u2019s creator payouts. Notably, it is the highest hike in the pricing of the X Premium+ subscription in the US since Musk bought Twitter in 2022.<br \/>\nX Premium Plus subscription has received a major price hike in major markets including the US<br \/>\nNotably, X\u2019s most-expensive Premium Plus subscription is getting a major price hike of 37.5 percent to $22 per month in the US. Earlier, the X user had to pay only $16 a month. The annual subscription of the same has also climbed to $229 from $168. The company said that it is adjusting the pricing to support the experience it offers to its subscribers. Notably, the social networking platform touted a completely ad-free experience as one of the main reasons for hiking the price of this subscription.<br \/>\nApart from the US, the X Premium+ subscription price hike has impacted many European regions like France, Germany, and Spain. The company is now charging \u20ac21 per month as compared to \u20ac16 earlier in these countries. The monthly and annual subscriptions of X Premium+ have also affected users in countries like Canada, Australia, and the UK. That said, X has increased the pricing of the Premium+ subscription in almost all of the countries where it operates.<br \/>\nX Premium+ subscription offers a completely ad-free experience and new features<br \/>\nIf you are unaware, X updated its most advanced subscription, X Premium+, in August this year. The top-tier subscription is now completely ad-free. In addition, you will get more perks like higher priority support for new features such as Radar. The most expensive X subscription also provides higher limits on the platform\u2019s newer Grok artificial intelligence models.
