The main downside would be its size, where working on a desktop with a larger screen would obviously be more comfortable. However, at CES 2025, JSAUX has announced its FlipGo Horizon portable monitor that could improve your experience greatly.
Dual monitor design
The JSAUX FlipGo Horizon is a portable monitor. Portable monitors aren’t a new thing, but what JSAUX is offering is a dual monitor setup. This means that when combined with your laptop’s display, you would essentially be working with three displays at the same time! While it doesn’t exactly increase the overall size of your display, having multiple displays can be a good alternative.
It would give you more screen real estate to move windows around. For instance, you could have the main display to show your main work area. The displays on the left and right can be used for apps that you don’t need to be in focus, like messenger apps, videos, a music player, and so on.
Magnetic design
Apart from turning your single laptop display into a triple display productivity beast, one of the other cool features of the JSAUX FlipGo Horizon portable monitor is that it uses magnets to mount the displays. This means that if you want, you can opt to use one monitor instead of two. It also makes it more portable and easier to pack.
The choice of using magnets was inspired by the original FlipGo by JSAUX. The company says that the Horizon will bring more power, versatility, and performance and improve upon the original model.
The use of magnets also allows users to use the displays in landscape mode or portrait orientation. Users can also mix and match depending on their needs. The entire setup is also pretty straightforward. It is plug-and-play so there is no need to install drivers or special software.
The monitors are also compatible with a wide range of laptops and platforms. This includes Windows, Linux, and macOS. It also plays nicely with laptops ranging from as small as 13 inches and up to 16 inches.
Pricing & availability
If you’re keen on the JSAUX FlipGo Horizon portable monitor, unfortunately, you won’t be able to purchase it just yet. The full specs of the display are currently unknown, but JSAUX mentions that it plans to launch a Kickstarter campaign in Q1 2025 to fund the production of the device.
The company could share more details such as specs, other features, pricing, and potential availability closer to the launch.
The post JSAUX’s FlipGo Horizon turns your laptop into a productivity beast appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Your laptops are pretty great productivity machines if you’re working on the go.
