By that, we don’t mean that killer robots have mobilized against humanity. We mean that companies won’t shut up about it! Obviously, CES was the platform for tons of companies to showcase their latest AI innovations, and gaming company Razer was no different. During CES, Razer showcased Project Ava, the company’s AI gaming assistant.
We’ve already seen some pretty exciting tech from Razer during the event. This stuff includes a new monitor stand and a dock for handheld consoles. Also, the company showed off its concept for a gaming chair with a built-in heater.
Razer shows off Project Ava at CES, and it’s rather ambitious
While Razer’s previous announcements were hardware based, the company also unveiled a neat AI feature that’s either innovative, creepy, or some combination of the two. Project Ava is an AI assistant that will live on the company’s computers. It won’t be a typical chatbot like with most other companies. Project Ava will actually act as your gaming coach.

The assistant will analyze what’s going on in the game you’re playing and give you real-time feedback on what you should do to better your strategy. Razer showed off a trailer showing this feature in action, but it might just be a simulation of how Ava will work. During the trailer, we hear Ava telling a person fighting a Souls-like boss to “after two swipes, punish, then dodge the follow-up.” We also hear Ava giving real-time advice in an FPS, and in an MMORPG. It will tell the player what strategies to employ.
Post-match analysis
Along with that, Ava will also offer post-match analysis. Say, you play a round in Call of Duty, and you weren’t doing so great, it will give you advice on how to improve your technique. Ava was trained on data from some of the best players in the world, so it’s no wonder why it’ll be able to provide such in-depth coaching.
This is a pretty interesting tool to have, and we’re sure that it’ll help out gamers when it launches. We just wish that Razer chose a less off-putting voice. Also, we wish that the company used a script that doesn’t sound like a monologue from an evil AI in a sci-fi thriller. Seriously, in the video, Ava says things like “My knowledge is limitless” and “By analyzing millions of simulations within seconds, I will always have an answer.”
In any case, this is a concept at the moment. There’s no telling when Razer will release this to the market.
The post Razer unveiled an AI-powered gaming coach at CES 2025 appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

AI has taken over the world.
