The company has even implemented artificial intelligence into home appliances. The Galaxy S25 series will also feature an improved Galaxy AI suite, according to leaks. Now, during CES 2025, Samsung confirmed the launch of an AI Subscription plan that will allow people to access Galaxy devices and its Ballie home robot.
Samsung’s AI Subscription plan will offer access to Galaxy phones and Ballie home robot
Recently, Samsung began experimenting with a new product distribution model. The company launched a “Subscription Club” in South Korea thanks to which people can take home appliances from the brand without paying full price. It is a business model based on a monthly fee, similar to that of streaming platforms like Netflix.
The South Korean giant started by offering its home appliances in the program. The experiment was successful, as interest in the brand’s products notably increased. In fact, just a week after its launch, products purchased through the Subscription Club accounted for 30% of total sales at Samsung stores in South Korea.
It seems that the positive reception of the plan has inspired Samsung to expand the product lines available. During CES 2025, Han Jong-hee—Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman—said that the company “will apply the subscription service to Galaxy smartphones starting next month.” “Ballie will be introduced first in Korea and the US, and we plan to supply it as a subscription in Korea,” he added.
It’s noteworthy that Samsung did not mention which Galaxy S devices will be available through the AI Subscription Club. However, it’s still possible that the Galaxy S25 flagship series will be in the catalog. After all, they are the main representatives of the company’s AI power in phones.
Ballie will finally hit the market this year
As for Ballie, Samsung recently confirmed that it will arrive on the market this year. The firm has been showing off the AI-powered home robot at events since 2020. Ballie could be the main beneficiary of its availability through Samsung’s AI Subscription Club. Commercial home robots have failed to catch on with the public due to their high prices. However, it’s possible that more people will be willing to “rent” it instead of paying full price.
Samsung’s Subscription Club is only available in South Korea. The company has not revealed whether it will launch the program in more regions in the future.
The post Samsung’s AI Subscription will let people „rent” Galaxy devices appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

For a while now, most Samsung devices have been integrating AI-powered features.
