Elon Musk-led AI company, xAI, has launched a dedicated iPhone app for its popular Grok chatbot. For the uninitiated, Grok is a conversational AI tool similar to OpenAI\u2019s ChatGPT and Google Gemini that can also generate images from text prompts and summarize texts for you.
\nThe Grok app is now available for iPhone users in three countries, including the US
\nThe AI company announced the news via its official X account today. If you look closely at Grok\u2019s listing in Apple\u2019s App Store, you\u2019ll know what\u2019s in for iOS users. The list of features suggests that the Grok app lets you generate high-quality AI images and access real-time information for your queries from X.
\nAdditionally, you can use the app to start a conversation with Grok, to which the chatbot will respond in an \u201cengaging and humorous\u201d tone. The company also says that all the interactions with Grok are handled with user privacy in mind.
\nThe new iOS Grok app is now available in three countries, including the US, Australia, and India. Not to forget, the Grok chatbot was only available to premium X users until recently. However, xAI made it available to all users last month. To catch you up, xAI started testing the standalone iOS app for Grok across many countries in December last year.<\/p>\n
A dedicated website for Grok is also live now
\nTechCrunch first reported that xAI was working on a dedicated website for Grok. However, at the time of writing, we found out that the website (Grok.com) is indeed live. All you have to do is verify your age. Besides, there\u2019s a sign-in feature on the website, but it works just fine even when you don\u2019t sign in. We\u2019ve attached a screenshot of the web interface below, take a look.
\nAll that said, the company hasn\u2019t announced an Android version of the Grok app yet. The wait for Android users shouldn\u2019t be too long, given that Grok\u2019s rivals like ChatGPT and Gemini already have an Android app.<\/p>\n
