Samsung had planned to put it in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ at first, but problems at the company’s factories prevented it. However, we will see it in some Galaxy foldable phones this year. Now, a leak has revealed the full spec sheet of the Exynos 2500 that will power the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
Reliable tipster Jukanlosreve has shared on X/Twitter all about Samsung’s upcoming flagship SoC for mobile devices. The post mentioned the Galaxy Z Flip 7, recalling the Samsung executive’s confirmation from last year. The chip will also be featured in the affordable Galaxy Z Flip FE, by the way.
Tech specs of Galaxy Z Flip 7’s Exynos 2500 chip leaked by a reliable tipster
According to the leak, the Exynos 2500 will feature a deca-core CPU architecture consisting of 1x 3.3GHz Cortex-X925 “super core,” 2x 2.75GHz Cortex-A725 high-performance cores, 2x 2.36GHz Cortex-A725 high-performance cores (at lower frequencies), and 2x 1.8GHz Cortex-A520 energy-saving cores. A Samsung Xclipse 950 GPU, based on AMD’s RDNA3.5 architecture (1.3GHz), will handle graphics processing.
The chip could also feature 16MB of L3 cache and support for LPDDR5X memory (9.6Gbps 16-bit quad-channel) + UFS4.x storage. Samsung wants to remain at the forefront of AI implementation in mobile devices, so it could integrate a powerful 56 TOPs NPU. Lastly, an upgraded ISP could offer support for camera sensors up to 320MP with 8K@60fps decoding & 8K@30fps recoding (MFC) capabilities.
A recent report claimed that the 2025 Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip will not bring major changes. Samsung could maintain the conservative line seen in the Galaxy S25 series that so many fans have criticized. The improvements in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could focus on integrating a larger screen and offering more power. It will probably also get new Galaxy AI features to try to compensate for the lack of more impressive specs. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip FE could use the same screen as the current Galaxy Z Flip 6. So, ironically, Samsung’s upcoming most affordable foldable could be the most interesting one in its catalog for 2025.
The post Galaxy Z Flip 7’s Exynos 2500 chip full spec sheet leaked appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

The Exynos 2500 chip has been one of the most controversial topics in the mobile tech industry for a while […]

[1

post-14948","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
