However, a stable One UI 7 update for older Galaxy phones is still far away. Currently, Samsung is running a One UI 7 beta program for Galaxy S24 users. These beta builds have given us a glimpse of what to expect from the latest version of Samsung’s custom skin. One of the highlights of One UI 7 is the multiple frame rate options in the game booster.
One UI 7’s Game Booster lets you select between variable frame rate modes
Galaxy S25 users can select between 60Hz and 120Hz frame rate modes from One UI 7’s Game Booster functionality. These settings will work with any games that don’t offer an option of their own to set the refresh rate. Also, if a particular game doesn’t support a 120Hz frame rate, then selecting it in Game Booster won’t provide any additional pleasing effect.
To choose between the 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rate, first open the Game Launcher application. Then, hit the three-dot menu option in the upper-right corner. Proceed with selecting “Game Booster” from the drop-down list. Now, go to “Gaming motion smoothness” and choose between 120Hz and 60Hz.

One UI 7 also lets you set games individually to run at different rates
Furthermore, the Game Booster functionality in the One UI 7 version also allows gamers to set games individually to run at different refresh rates. You can set a game to run at 20Hz, 30Hz, 40Hz, 50Hz, or 60Hz. To access this feature, open the Game Launcher app and go to the drop-down menu and select “Game Booster”. Now, choose the “Customizations for individual games” option. Here, choose the game whose frame rate you want to change. Finally, select “FPS” and drag the slider to the desired refresh rate.
Samsung users can access the new frame rate settings only on the devices running One UI 7. As of now, only the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra offer the One UI 7 version out of the box with this feature. The Galaxy S24 series owners can also experience the new frame rate settings. However, they will have to enroll in the One UI 7 beta program.

The post One UI 7’s Game Booster offers more frame rate options for gamers appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

After a delay of several months, Samsung finally introduced the final build of One UI 7 alongside the Galaxy S25 […]

[1

post-15124","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
