Available to Gemini Advanced users, this tool helps people reduce the amount of time they spend researching topics. Well, Gemini Deep Research is now available for the app.
While diving down a rabbit hole while researching can be fun, it’s not convenient for everyone. This goes especially for students who have tons of papers due and very little time to do them. This is one of the ways that AI can help. No, we’re not talking about using AI to write the papers.
Google’s Deep Research tool will do the task of tracking down sources and information relevant to what you’re working on. What you’ll do is type the subject you’re researching into the text field. Gemini will then present you with a research plan. Once you look over and refine the plan, Gemini will scour the web to find you relevant information. It does the research for you so you don’t have to spend hours tracking down information. It can really come in handy when time is short.
Gemini Deep Research is coming to the Gemini app
Pretty much any new feature that comes to the web version of Gemini eventually makes it to the app. We’ve seen additional models and features like the ability to upload files finally hit the app. It shouldn’t come as a surprise, as it’s one of the most convenient ways to access Gemini.
On Tuesday, Google announced that it finally brought Deep Research over to the Gemini app. Selecting this feature is as easy as choosing the model that you want to use. Tap on the model selector at the top of the screen. You’ll see the panel slide up from the bottom of the UI. Just select the Deep Research button.
Just know that this feature is still only for people using Gemini Advanced. If you’re looking to upgrade, it will cost you $19.99/month. Sign up for the AI Premium Google One tier. It will give you access to Gemini Advanced.
The post Google just made accessing Deep Research extremely easy appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

Google is trying to make researching a thing of the past with its relatively new tool called Deep Research.
