\nThe Backbone One has been one of the most popular mobile game controllers available for some time, especially for use with Game Pass, but the company has surprisingly never released an Xbox Edition of the controller. At least until now. Today, Backbone officially announced the Xbox Edition of the Backbone One, available in a glorious green with that translucent design that you may initially remember from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 days.
\nThe Backbone One Xbox Edition completes Backbone\u2019s offerings for a controller themed after two of the three major console platforms. The company released the PlayStation Edition way back in the middle of 2022, and while all models have always worked for Xbox Game Pass, now Xbox fans truly have a version of this controller to call their own.
\nThe new Xbox version of this controller will be available through Backbone\u2019s official online store and at Best Buy. Backbone doesn\u2019t mention anything about availability at Amazon. But Amazon does have availability of the other models, so it\u2019s not impossible that this model may show up there eventually. For now, though, Best Buy is the only retail partner carrying it.<\/p>\n

The Backbone One Xbox Edition retails for $109.99
\nIf you\u2019re looking to get your hands on this controller, it can be yours for $109.99. That\u2019s a bit more than the cost of the other models, but it is new, and chances are the price will come down over time. That being said, if you aren\u2019t keen on paying the higher price, you could opt for the other versions of the Backbone One, which offer the same functions. The connection is USB-C and works for both Android and iOS devices.
\nIt also has all the same buttons, though it does change the icons to what you\u2019d find on an Xbox controller. There are also a few great alternatives to the Backbone One, like the Kishi V2 Pro, which also comes in an Xbox Edition. That being said, Razer\u2019s version is normally $149.99, so Backbone\u2019s offering is less expensive when you factor in the full price. However, the Kishi V2 Pro Xbox Edition is also currently on sale for about $88.
\nEither way, the Backbone One is an awesome controller for mobile gaming. If you don\u2019t already have a mobile controller, it comes highly recommended.
