Back in 2022, Sony raised PS5 prices for several regions, including Europe, the UK, China, Japan, and a few other countries. With this new increase, Europe and the UK will once again be asked to pay just a little bit more for the console. Having said that, many of the markets that were hit with price increases last time won\u2019t be feeling the sting this time around.

\nWhen it comes to the specific regions that will see this price increase, it boils down to four regions. Europe, Australia, the UK, and New Zealand. Obviously there will be several countries in Europe being hit by these new prices.
\nSony says that the price of the PS5 digital edition will go up in Europe to \u20ac499.99. In the UK, it\u2019s going up to \u00a3429.99. Luckily, the price for the standard disc edition in both of those regions is going to be unchanged. So if you prefer the model with the disc drive, it\u2019ll stay the same price.
\nHowever, the disc model is going up in price in Australia and New Zealand. The standard edition will now cost AUD $829.95 in Australia, and the digital edition will now cost AUD $749.95. For New Zealand, prices will be NZD $949.95 and NZD $859.95, respectively.
\nSony says the prices on the PS5 Pro will also not change across any of these regions. So if that\u2019s the model you\u2019re going for, it\u2019s not getting any more expensive than it already is. Additionally, Sony is decreasing the price of the disc drive attachment in these regions. Specifically, it\u2019ll cost \u20ac79.99 in Europe, \u00a369.99 in the UK, AUD $124.95 in Australia, and NZD $139.95 in New Zealand.
