There’s no official word on the exact launch date or whether or not the card launching next month is even accurate. However, the latest rumors suggest that NVIDIA is planning to release the RTX 5050 soon. In fact, at least a few reports have surfaced claiming that the card is expected next month.

NVIDIA will release the RTX 5050 for both laptops and desktops, and that should open up the purchase options for gamers on a budget. That being said, it’s still unclear what the RTX 5050 will cost for the desktop card, or what laptops with it inside will cost. For the former, it’s worth noting that they’ll likely be subject to price increases due to scalpers, as is the case with just about every new GPU these days. So, whatever the MSRP ends up being, don’t expect prices to stay that way for long.

The NVIDIA RTX 5050 is rumored to launch in July

As mentioned above, it’s still unclear what the exact launch date is. Some reports have suggested that the card will be dropping in July, though, which means we could be just a month or so away from what should be the least expensive 50-series GPU in the lineup.

According to Wccftech, the RTX 5050 will come with 2560 CUDA cores and 8GB of VRAM. This is exactly the same CUDA core count that the RTX 4050 had. That doesn’t mean there won’t be a nice little bump in performance, though. The RTX 5050 does come with 8GB of VRAM compared to the 6GB on the RTX 5050. And it has a couple of other things going for it. For one, it has a wider 128-bit memory bus. It’s also part of the RTX 50-series, and that means it has access to the multi-frame generation with DLSS 4 technology. So, while it may not end up being a significant bump in performance when it comes to hardware, it will still get the boost from DLSS 4, and that won’t be a bad thing.

According to VideoCardz, the RTX 5050 will also come with a 130W TDP. However, memory clock and memory bandwidth are still unknown variables of the upcoming graphics card. It does seem like the memory will be GDDR7, though.
The post NVIDIA RTX 5050 rumored for launch soon with 2560 CUDA cores, more VRAM appeared first on Android Headlines.

Source: ndroidheadlines.com

The NVIDIA RTX 5050 GPU will likely be the company’s baseline entry-level GPU in the RTX 50-series, and it looks […]

[1

post-16686","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-bez-kategorii
["GET
