Google is working on new handy features that users will enjoy. Remix, an AI-powered tool for Google Photos that can transform photos into various artworks, is one of them. New evidence now shows that it can also turn photos into animations.<\/p>\n

Google Photos will turn still images into animations with generative AI<\/p>\n

According to Android Authority, the Google Photos v7.35 build contains code for the Remix and Remix Video features that Google has been developing for some time. It is also said that \u201cBluejay\u201d is the code name assigned to the company\u2019s new function. The code clearly shows that the new feature is capable of creating animations from photos in Google Photos. <\/p>\n

Looking at the shared preview of Remix Video, users will be able to access it easily. As you may know, when you open the Google Photos app, a \u201cPlus\u201d sign appears in the top right corner. Google will place the new feature right there once it officially releases it.<\/p>\n

Users will select a photo and then convert it into an animated video using generative AI. There will even be motion style options like \u201cSubtle Movements,\u201d \u201cGo Wild,\u201d and \u201cI\u2019m Feeling Lucky.\u201d However, for now, we don\u2019t know what these options do because the feature is not working properly yet.<\/p>\n

Another notable thing in the preview is that the feature asks users to crop their selected photos to a 9:16 aspect ratio. This might be something Google is testing during the development process. Unfortunately, for now, all of this remains unknown.<\/p>\n

When will the Remix feature be released?<\/p>\n

As everyone knows, these kinds of new features take a long time to develop. Therefore, without an official statement, no one can give a clear release date. However, the recent discovery of new evidence regarding the Remix and Remix Video features suggests that Google may surprise users in a short time.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, since the preview crashed during the work, it would be better for users to be skeptical about these details for now. Since the construction phase is still ongoing, it is possible that Google will make some changes.
