Samsung\u2018s newest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, have just wrapped up their pre-order period. Early data from South Korea reveals an unexpected trend. For the first time in years, the premium, book-style Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is reportedly receiving more pre-orders than the more affordable\u2014and usually more popular\u2014Z Flip series.<\/p>\n

The report comes from the South Korean outlet The Financial News. According to the source, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 accounts for around 60% of pre-orders for Samsung\u2019s 2025 foldables. Meanwhile, the Z Flip 7 (including the FE model) makes up the remaining 40%. This is a notable shift from previous years. For example, last year the Z Flip 6 captured 60% of pre-orders compared to the Z Fold 6\u2019s 40%.
